Bio: Roseann is a seasoned consult and certified leadership coach. She is a community leader and activist who has served on non-profit boards and on national, regional and local Democratic campaigns. She serves on the Martin County DEC Executive Board where she actively recruits and manages volunteers in coordination with local and state-wide campaigns. She also serves as Vice President for the Martin County Democratic Club, where she has focused on enhancing membership, broadening the diversity within the Club, and encouraging member volunteerism.
Roseann’s activism began in college; but had to be reigned in while she was raising a family and climbing the corporate ladder. However, when Hillary and Barack both entered the Democratic Presidential primary, Roseann made it a priority to work in the evenings and on weekends scheduling volunteers and coordinating phone banks for state, local and the Presidential campaign once Barack won the primary. Though she and her husband finally got their “dream house” in Florida, she was still at the Democratic election night watch party in Maryland where hundreds of democratic activists gathered to witness, at the very last moment, Florida’s vote come in for Barack and the win. Her future home state came through despite a tough election!
Her new home in Martin County, a clearly red county in a purple state, provides challenges to Democratic candidates that were nonexistent in a blue state like Maryland. She has learned many lessons about how to best navigate the challenges and try to mitigate the 2 to 1 ratio of voters that Democrats face. Her most pressing goal is to turn Florida Blue in 2020.
Today, she provides pro bono services to local non-profits. “I am excited to take my business, coaching and political experience, and the knowledge I’ve gained in the field to Campaign Greenhouse!”
Roseann completed her MA in Human Resource Management at American University and received her Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University. She held executive level positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Advice: Advice: Early on, bring of few of your closest supporters together and develop your vision, focused on what you will achieve in office, that can be relayed with enthusiasm in the time it takes to ride an elevator up a few floors. Put your heart into achieving that vision and motivate your team of supporters and volunteers to do the same. Nail it down so that you can recite it with enthusiasm pitching your candidacy to the Chamber of Commerce breakfast, shaking hands at the mall, calling potential donors, or speaking to the local Democratic Club, even when you’re so tired you could fall over. A compelling vision with clear goals is the foundation for a winning team.
